At Golden City Church, we don’t want to fill people’s calendars with church activities every night of the week. Instead, we cultivate a few simple, intentional rhythms that help us follow Jesus together and live on mission where God has placed us.
For that reason, we encourage everyone who calls Golden City Church home to build their lives around two primary rhythms: Sundays and Community Groups.
Sundays:
The Church Gathered
Every Sunday, we gather as one church family around Jesus and His gospel through Scripture, singing, prayer, baptism, and Communion.
In a world constantly competing for our attention and affection, gathering together reorients our lives around Jesus, His Word, and His people.
Community Groups: From House to House
Community Groups are smaller communities committed to following Jesus together and helping others do the same.
Throughout the week, we gather in homes and around tables to share meals, open God’s Word, pray, practice hospitality, and encourage one another in everyday life. These groups help us move from simply attending church to truly knowing and being known by others.
Community Groups are also communities on mission—creating natural opportunities to love our neighbors, serve our communities, and help others encounter Jesus through His people.
